Accommodation
There are numerous hotels in the Brighton Area. Please refer to the tourist board website www.visitbrighton.com. * The Event Organisers do not accept any liability for Hotel/Bed & Breakfast bookings and accommodation.

Cancelling your registration
There is no need to cancel your registration if you realise that you can not make it on the day, however you are encouraged to send areplacement delegate.

Can I bring children?
It is not advisable to bring children into either the exhibition or the conference sessions. Please note there are no créche facilities.

Car parking
There will be free car parking available for the day of the event at the racecourse in the main car park. A parking attendant will direct you to delegate parking areas.

Contacting speakers afterwards

The Showcase partners will make available email addresses for those speakers who give their permission. You may then contact them post event if you require any further information. Please note that copies of the presentations will be available on the  event website www.careshowcase.org.uk following the event from those speakers who give their permission. Note some speakers also have stands in the exhibition area.

Disabled Access
There is disabled access on every level. There are also accessible toilets available.

Disabled visitors - wheelchairs
Please contact our event organiser Lisa Mack on 07779 584397 if you are a wheelchair user and require any further information.

Is the exhibition completely free?
Yes, all sessions are completely free*, including the exhibition. Although you will need to pay for your own transport, catering, and any accommodation. The Showcase partners do not provide funding for delegates to visit. * Please note that there is a delegate fee for delegates located outside Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, and Brighton & Hove.

Doors Open 08:30am
Exhibition Area Open 09:00am
Official opening at 10:00am in the Exhibition area
Programme session 10:15am
Last session closes and event finishes at 15:30pm

Registering on the day
You can register on the day – it is just easier to pre-register so that you make the most out of your time. Just go to the main registration desk located in the Grandstand Hall and register your details. You can not enter the exhibition without registering your details.

Sign language interpreters/loop system

Please note that there will be no provision of sign language interpreters on the day. There is no loop system in the main exhibition area or the seminar rooms.

Toilets
There are toilets located in the Grandstand Hall and also between the Owners and Trainers, and Paddock seminar rooms. The Registration Desk will be able to direct to you on the day.

Travel links
By Road - Please refer to location map on the website.
By Rail - Brighton is less than an hour from London by train and there are services from Victoria, London Bridge and Kings Cross. Train services from Leatherhead, Guildford and Woking are operated via Southern Railway (Approx journey time between 1hr 25–50 minutes). There are also frequent coastway services operating from Eastbourne, Lewes, Hastings, Worthing and Portsmouth.

By Taxi - Brighton & Hove Streamline Taxis are Brighton Racecourse's preferred supplier of taxis and can be contacted directly on 01273 202020 for bookings to and from the racecourse. Please note that there is a free phone in the Reception area.

Visas
Unfortunately the Showcase partners can not assist with any Visa requirements or applications for the visit to the event, this is solely your responsibility.

Where can I buy food?
There will be a catering area located in the exhibition halls. Please note the venue operate as a cashless venue, so Credit Card payments accepted only. Menu options to be finalised, however details of last year’s choices below to give some guidance:

If you wish to bring your own food, there will be seating area available in the refreshment/catering area.

Where can I contact The Showcase Partners on the day?
The Showcase Partners will all have their own stands within the Exhibition area. The main registration desk will be staffed throughout the day and event staff will be more than happy to assist with any queries you may have.

Will there be a brochure on the day?
Yes there will be an event guide distributed on the day.

Will there be writing materials available?
Yes the Showcase Partners will be providing writing paper and pens, which will be available within the seminar rooms themselves.

Photographs
Photographs will be taken throughout the day in seminars and at the exhibition if you prefer not to be included in any group photograph then please let the event team know on arrival. Exhibitors or other groups may request the photographer to take a photograph and this will be sent after the event – the event organisers reserve the right to make a charge for this service.

Seminar Evaluation
If you could ensure that you complete and return your event evaluation form (which will be included in your delegate pack) as you leave the event. We particularly value your feedback on the venue and whether you would be willing to pay a delegate fee for a future event.There will also be evaluation forms which will be handed out by event staff at each of the seminars . We welcome your feedback on each of the
seminars that you attend.
